Brolga Developments & Construction is a Broome based builder established by Dene Purdon back in 2001.
Since then, we have been involved in over two hundred building projects, from luxury homes to ablution blocks and most things in between.
We boast many repeat customers, some of which are non-residents of Broome. So you can rest assure that you don't have to live in Broome to build in Broome as these wonderful customers of ours have found.
We believe our work is unique and innovative. This was acknowledged by the Master Builders Association when we won their "Most Innovative Builder" award in 2006.
We also boast an in-house Draft and Design Team comprising Dene Purdon and Russell Meads. What this means is that we can provide a fully comprehensive in-house building and/or renovation service, including the design and preparation of plans from a concept in your mind or an artist’s impression right through to architectural and engineered drawings, as well as advice on structural and Shire requirements for the area.
If you have your own architect, no problem. Brolga has completed an architect designed home in Broome for Perth based architects “Iredale Pederson Hook Architects”. Finn Pedersen together with Brolga completed this project ahead of schedule, on budget & it went on to win Best Home in its category at the prestigious Master Builders Association Awards.
All of our buildings are designed specifically for the Kimberley's warmer climate, and include many unique features ideal for Broome’s easy style of living. Our award winning plans incorporate spacious rooms with open plan living emphasising entertaining areas. The use of recycled timber and other products provide our homes with very distinctive attributes and selling features. We will work with you to incorporate as many of our ideas with what you want to build, and to achieve the best possible design outcome.
Our attention to detail and follow up service is second to none. Being a small business, the owners of the business are involved at all times. We pride ourselves in our personalised approach to the individual needs of our clients.
