NEWS & AWARDS

The prestigious Master Builders Awards (MBA) are held in Broome every year to represent entries for the North West WA (Kimberley / Pilbara). We are proud to say that Brolga Developments & Construction has been successful in many categories over the years proving to be one of the more successful companies over the years.  In 2011, we were proud to be involved in the Housing Industry Association's (HIA) inaugural annual awards.

2004:

• MBA - Finalist Best Contract Home $300,000-400,000

2005:

• MBA - Best Contract Home $200,000-$250,000
• MBA - Best Contract Home $400,000-$500,000
• MBA - Excellence award for “Most innovative use of building materials”
• MBA - Excellence award for “Best Design & Drafting”

Our tradesmen also picked up four individual awards for:

• Excellence in Metal Cladding
• Excellence in Concrete
• Excellence in Ceilings
• One of our tradesman also won “Tradesmen of the year”

• MBA - Finalist Best Contract Home $250,000-300,000
• MBA - Finalist Best Contract Home $300,000-400,000
• MBA - Excellence award for “Most Innovative Use of Building Materials”
• MBA - “Judges Choice Award” for ”Most Innovative Builder”

Our tradesmen also picked up individual awards for

• Excellence in Paving

2007:

• MBA - Best Contract Home $250,000-$300,000
• MBA - Best Multi Unit Development under $1,000,000
• MBA - One of tradesman also won ‘Tradesman of the Year”

2008:

With a lot of transitions within the company we chose not to enter any homes in the awards, however we were still successful taking out:
 

• "Employer/Trainer of the Year - Pilbara/Kimberley Region"  
• Our apprentice, Rhys Egan won "Apprentice/Trainee of the Year - Pilbara/Kimberley Region".  He then went on to win in Perth the "Regional Apprentice of the Year"

2010: 

• "Employer/Trainer of the Year - Pilbara/Kimberley Region"
• Our apprentice, Shane Foster was a finalist in the award for "Building Construction Apprentice of the Year"

2011:

• HIA - Project Home of the Year
